Using the Segments filter

CafeTran uses the Segments filter a lot. In fact, the Segments filter plays a crucial role in many processes:

  • Finding and replacing
  • Quality Assurance
  • Changing the status of segments
  • Performing a wide range of actions on filtered segments, mostly aggregated in the View and Task menu

You can activate (set) a filter in different ways:

  • By clicking on the funnel symbol above the source segment:

  • By clicking on the funnel symbol in the Find and Replace dialogue box:

PLEASE NOTE: By activating the Multiple filter check-box, you can combine filters (use cascading filters).

  • By choosing one of the indicated items from the Task menu

WARNING: When no filter is set, the chosen action will be executed on all segments in the project. This cannot be undone!
