Currently, CafeTran doesn't have a real Undo feature at the project level. You are advised to save all your projects, TMs and glossaries in Dropbox. Dropbox has a versioning mechanism that allows you to restore previously saved files.

From the Wikipedia:

Dropbox allows users to create a special folder on their computers, which Dropbox then synchronizes so that it appears to be the same folder (with the same contents) regardless of which computer is used to view it.

Dropbox provides client software for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, Android, iOS, BlackBerry OS, Windows Phone and web browsers.

Working on different computers

You can use Dropbox to easily swap projects, glossaries etc. between different computers (e.g. an iMac and a laptop with Windows 10). As long as you save everything in your Dropbox and wait until it has synced before you shut down your computer, you're fine.

Installing CafeTran in your Dropbox

Personally, I wouldn't install CafeTran itself in my Dropbox. The reason for this is that I want to be sure that both instances of CafeTran (on my MacBook Pro and on my iMac) are independent from each other. If one instance becomes unstable for what reason so ever, I can always swap to my other computer to continue my work.

Accessing your files while you're away from your computer

You shouldn't work on your holiday but sometimes you need to access your files while you're enjoying the sun on the beach. E.g. when a client calls you to send a TM or exported translation again. With Dropbox on your smartphone you can help him out.

Free space

All new Dropbox accounts and downloads, including the desktop and mobile apps, are totally free. Dropbox Basic accounts start with 2 GB of free space. You can earn more free space in a variety of ways. For example, by referring your friends to Dropbox.

Support the CafeTran wiki team

For every CafeTran user who joins and installs Dropbox on her computer, Dropbox will give the CafeTran Wiki team 1 GB and the CafeTran user 500 MB of bonus space. Click this link if you want to support and do not already have a Dropbox account yourself: https://db.tt/DxlboYh

How to arrange your files in your Dropbox?

There are, of course, many ways to arrange your files in folders. Every decision will have its pros and cons. Here are some ways out of many:

Language-based

Note that TMs can be used in both directions, without the need of any modifications. Glossaries can be used in both directions two, depending of the setting in Edit > Options > Glossary > Automatic glossary look-up: Left terms, Right terms or Left and right terms.
